Regular negative: not or n´t
Example
Tom is not sad about the results.
Correct answernot sad = happy

Expression
other negatives: nobody, none, nothing, never.
Example
Nobody arrived on time.
Sal never works hard.
Correct answernobody....on time=late
never works hard= lazy
